About

The Anemasys Network Management system should provide easy management of small (Linux) networks. In the future features like remote controlling, administration and information gathering using SNMP are planned. Right now we are still in a very early development stadium. Even though basic task like state controle are already working. With this you can get an overview of running systems in your network at a short view.

Anemasys consists of the anemasys-client package and the AdminConsole Configuration Gui. It is developed using platform independent technologies like Python or Mono/GTK# so it should be easy to port it to other opertaing system.

• [2006-06-09] First public pre alpha release
  
• [2006-06-01] First pre alpha version of the anemasys client has been finished.
  The first pre alpha veriosn of the client part of anemasys has been finished. At this time it only provides very basic functionality. At system startup the client will write system state and the current used ip address from eth0 to the anemasys database. There is no proper error handling yet.
  The first version will be released when I finished basic documentation.

Downloads

At this time there is only a very early version of anemasys-client. An AdminConsole package will follow as soon as possible.
